after a recent visit to the aquarium, the fiver developed a crazy obsession with vultures.*

one research trip to the library later, and we were ready to make our own:

it started with a simple carboard template, which was later painted. then i cut the template out and gave back to cy to work on the opposite sides.

after slotting the pieces together we had our very own king vulture.

(later came an afternoon of near life-sized nest drawings, the egg count way exceeding acceptable realms for any mamma.)

* and vultures? totally gross. necessary, but disgusting.
